Rebel - Bay Arab
graphite inktense on paper
32cm x 28cm
A big thank you for my beautiful drawing of Rebel, you have given a small portion of him back to me. Margaret and I shed a few tears when we unveiled him.
He is hanging in the family room where I can see him when I'm washing up.

Winters Deep Embrace - Amur Tiger acrylic on canvas 90cm x 90cm We stumbled across Cynthia’s artwork on a holiday to Noosa. Her painting ‘Winters Deep Embrace’ now has pride of place in our living room and the Amur Tiger keeps a watching eye over us. We love it and we also think it’s great that Cynthia is supporting conservation efforts to save these animals. David Farmer - Wellington, New Zealand |

Torti acrylic on canvas paper It's simply beautiful. I'm just so delighted and Daniel will think this is quite possibly the very best birthday gift ever. I can't wait to display it somewhere special. What a stunning reminder of our beloved Puss. I've seen a lot of pictures of your work so I knew I was in the very best of hands with this portrait! When I'm old and grey, I'll still always and forever have Torti with me. We will never part with it. You are truly gifted in your art. Sincere thanks to you from us for your hard work, I love it. Best wishes Amanda Dwyer - Sydney, Australia |

Rex
pastel on paper
Little Rex was an adorable little soul I met in the local pet shop. He was a Devon Rex kitten.
The staff of the store had affectionately named him "T'Rex" because of the wrinkly forehead.
The customer in front of me said how ugly he looked and wouldn't touch him and I thought no, so cute.
Dropped the T and called him Rex. Bit like a dog really he lived to fetch the little ball in the painting.
He had health issues but you don't want to give them back so he became well loved.
Cynthia is an amazing artist and captures the spirit and essence of her subject’s purrrfectly.
I always enjoy her visits and look forward to seeing all her new creations and helping to frame them.
Wish I could own all of them. I am unable to get another pet at this stage and always wanted another
one so for now I have a good selection of House originals to enjoy daily but missed Rexie so had Cynthia
do a portrait of him for me. It is so amazing what she was able to come up with from a few average
photos and videos I had kept of him. She so enjoyed painting him while exploring new techniques
which she had not used before and the work glows with life every time you look at it. It feels like he
is going to start playing with the ball and jump out of the frame every time you look at him.
Thanks Cynthia for bringing me continuous memories of a past companion.

Layla pastel on paper My dear Mother passed away recently and left me a small sum of her hard earned money. I tried to find a way to use this money that would remind me of Mum. In Mum's last days my cat Layla spent most of her time cuddled into Mum's side, giving her the warmth affection and love they both gave me over the years. I asked Cynthia to paint this portrait of Layla for a lasting memory of them both. When he saw the digital image of the portrait, my son thought it was the original photograph that Cynthia had used. The likeness is remarkable and Cynthia has captured the very soul of my dear Layla. I am thrilled beyond belief. Gloria Parker - Sunshine Coast, Australia |

Chilli
pastel on paper
Our portrait of Chilli was commissioned as a surprise for myself and my husband, Jon.
Chilli is our 16 month old German Shepherd, and our first dog together, so very dear to our hearts.
The portrait that Cynthia did was amazing. It completely captured Chilli’s personality, and hangs
proudly in our hallway for all to see. Cynthia’s pastel work is beautiful and I would recommend her
work to anyone who has a well loved pet.

Diatai & Bindi acrylic on canvas Without sounding too gushy words will never be able to express my thanks for the perfection in which you painted 'Daitai & Bindi'. This may sound over the top but I feel that they are both back with me, especially Daitai - I had her for 11 glorious years from a kitten. Judy McKerr - Darwin, Australia |
